Dr. Brian R. Stahl Accomplishments include doing the first laser vision correction for a Dayton patient, first in Ohio to treat hyperopia with LASIK, the first in Dayton/Cincinnati to offer the advantages of LadarVision technology, and now the first in Dayton/Cincinnati to offer CustomVision featuring wavefront corrections to not only improve vision against the 20/20 standard, but to increase crispness and clarity as well!
Dr. Stahl trained at the Ohio State University where he received doctorates in both optometry and medicine. He completed an Internship at Riverside Hospital in Columbus and completed his Residency at the Ohio State Department of Ophthalmology, where he currently is an Associate Professor of Ophthalmology. Dr. Stahl is involved in teaching refractive surgery to residents and other doctors in the area and has lectured extensively on refractive surgery. Current memberships include the International Society of Refractive Surgery, American Medical Association, American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons, Ohio State Medical Association, Ohio Ophthalmological Association, and Dayton Area Society of Ophthalmologists.
